2010 Showcase (Boys & Girls)
New NCAA legislation eliminates the month of April as an
evaluation period for Division I coaches. As a result this past
year the D1 coaches were not allowed to attend the boys' showcase
event. There is a possibility this legislation may be reversed
next year, but until this issue is resolved the IBCA has decided
to move the boys' event to July 12, 2010,
when D1 coaches are permitted to attend.

January 2, 2010: Letter
goes out to all coaches in the state for nominations of Top
100 boys and girls
Underclassmen.

February 24, 2010:
Nominations returned to District reps
by this date.
District Reps.- select their top 25 choices
from nominations returned.

February 28, 2010:
District Reps. selection committees meet and select Top
100 candidates.

March 8, 2010:
Letter to Top 100 goes out by this date (send to top
120)

April 15, 2010
Showcase candidates must accept by this date
*After April 1, contact coaches of candidates who have not
committed.
*Send out letters to alternate candidates to complete the Top 100

finalized

books ready to go to press.
